Büroanwendungen mit Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office ist ein Bündel von sog. “Büroanwendungen”:

• Textverarbeitung: Microsoft Word, auch WinWord genannt
• Tabellenkalkulation: Microsoft Excel
• Präsentationen:  Microsoft PowerPoint
• Datenbank:  Microsoft Access
• Publikationen: Microsoft Publisher
• E-Mail: Microsoft Outlook
• Notizen: Microsoft OneNote

Als kostenlose Alternative zu Microsoft Office wird gerne “Libre Office” genommen.

Laut Wikipedia gibt es folgende Office-Hauptversionen für Windows:

• Office 2024                              1. Oktober 2024
• Office 2021                              5. Oktober 2021
• Office 2019 = Version 17 = 24. September 2018
• Office 2016 = Version 16 = 22. September 2015
• Office 2013 = Version 15 = 29. Januar 2013
• Office 2010 = Version 14 = 15. Juni 2010
• Office 2007 = Version 12 = 30. Januar 2007
• Office 2003 = Version 11 = 17.  2003   (kompatibel mit Windows 7)
• Office XP =     Version 10 = 31. Mai 2001
• Office 2000 = Version 9 =  Juni 1999
• Office 97 =      Version 8 = Ende 1996
• Office 95 =      Version 7 = 1995

Wobei die Office-Versionen dann immer noch in verschiedenen “Editionen” (z.B. Home, Professional, Busines,…) erscheinen.

Ich habe auf ComputerGraumann “Office Home and Business 2016”, und auf ComputerAsusbaer “Office Abonnementsprodukt  Microsoft Office 365”

Ende 2025 bin ich generell auf Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 umgestiegen, weil ich offline arbeiten wollte – also ohne das Internet, ohne die Microsoft Cloud, ohne ein Microsoft Konto.

Office 2024 LTSC Professional Plus

Am 14.9.2025 habe ich Office 2024 LTSC als Version für 3 PCs bei Lizenzpate gekauft (Eur 28,95) weil dies die letzte Microsoft Office Version ist, die noch offline (also ohne Internet) läuft.

Hintergrund ist, dass ich mich von Microsoft-Internet-Diensten (z.B. OneDrive) komplett lösen möchte.
Mein Microsoft Abo habe ich gekündigt und auch OneDrive deinstalliert.
Meine Windows 11 Installationen auf ComputerAcerBaer, ComputerFlachmann und ComputerThinkBaer habe ich auf lokales Konto umgestellt.

Langfristig will ich schließlich auf LibreOffice umstellen.
